Writing your first press release
For your first press release you will be writing about the lead magnet you already created. To write a great press release requires you to answer five questions. You will find all good journalists answer these same five questions when writing their articles.
Those questions are, ‘Who, What, When, Why and Where?’
Who are you? You. You are who. What is your business name, what makes you stand out in your niche?
What are you talking about? You are talking about your lead magnet. What is it?
When? Tell people when you released your lead magnet.
Why opt-in? What is your lead magnet going to do for whoever signs up for it? What are the benefits?
Where can I get it? This is where you want to put the link to your squeeze page.
If you are not comfortable creating your own you can easily outsource it to someone on Fiverr. You could also outsource the distribution of your press release to Fiverr. Be sure to shop around for the right person for you, however.
